Overview

Pocket Bloom ("we", "us") develops iOS applications. This privacy policy covers our website (pocketbloom.de) and our iOS apps. We take a minimal-data approach: our website collects nothing, and our apps store everything locally on your device.

Website

Our website uses Vercel Analytics to measure traffic patterns (page views, referrers, etc.). We do not:

  • Collect personally identifiable information (names, emails, IP addresses are not stored)
  • Use cookies or tracking technologies
  • Use Google Analytics or third-party tracking services
  • Share analytics data with third parties

Vercel Analytics respects your privacy: it does not use cookies and respects browser Do Not Track settings. See Vercel's Analytics documentation for details.

Apps

Our iOS apps store all data locally on your device. Some apps offer iCloud sync, which is handled entirely by Apple through your iCloud account. We do not have access to your synced data.

Data stored locally in Clocked:

  • Time tracking entries
  • Client information
  • App preferences

Data stored locally in FaceSortr:

  • Photo library scan results and app preferences
  • People, face tags, confirmation state, and correction history you create in the app
  • Face metadata and embeddings used for on-device matching

FaceSortr uses Apple Photos access only to scan and organize your local photo library on your device. Photos, face data, labels, and embeddings are not uploaded to us. If iCloud sync is enabled for an app, syncing is handled by Apple through your iCloud account; we do not have access to synced data.

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this app data.

Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not process payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Services

Our iOS apps do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or data collection services. The website uses Vercel Analytics (mentioned above in the Website section).

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Since we do not collect personal data through our website and do not have access to your app data, these rights primarily apply to ensuring your local app data is under your full control. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
